A note from the athletic director...
As we kick off our annual Spartan Week of Giving, I find myself thinking about the moments that have defined our athletic department over the years: the early-morning practices, the bus rides, the tough losses, and the celebrations that come with doing something the right way.
Having spent so many years in college athletics, I’ve learned that what we do goes far beyond the field of play. Our student-athletes are learning to lead, respond to adversity, and be great teammates and people. Those lessons stay with them long after the competitions are over.
I also know that none of this happens on its own. It takes people who care, people willing to invest in something that matters. That’s what this week is all about.
Your support directly impacts the experience of our student-athletes. Your gifts help us provide the kind of environment they deserve, one that challenges them, supports them, and prepares them for what comes next.
I’m grateful for the role so many of you have already played in building what we have, and I hope you’ll consider being a part of what we’re continuing to grow.
