Description
In 1981, a group of students and volunteers were led by Dr. Ed Miller, Manchester University professor emeritus, on a trip to Guatemala in hopes of providing medical services to those in the local area. Medical Practicum was born. In the years to follow, Manchester faculty, students and volunteers have made numerous trips to varying countries providing medical care to those in need.

Medical Practicum Endowment
Personal Message
We extend our deepest gratitude for supporting Manchester University's medical practicum, paving the way for future generations of aspiring healthcare professionals. Your support ensures future students can fully immerse themselves in invaluable hands-on experiences, shaping them into persons of ability and conviction who improve the human condition.
Why are donations necessary?
The medical practicum offers an experience of life outside of the country to provide much-needed care to communities whose healthcare is otherwise very limited. Your support to the Medical Practicum Endowment Fund allows us to ensure this program is offered year after year.
