Description

The African-American Healthcare Alliance (AAHA) is the newest student organization chapter on the Manchester University Fort Wayne campus, home to MU's Pharmacy Programs. We are participating in Giving Day as a way to raise funds to assist in the growth of our organization and provide an awareness of the initiatives that we support throughout the Fort Wayne community. The mission of the African-American Healthcare Alliance of Fort Wayne is to promote, support and enhance education regarding health care issues, specifically for, but not limited to the African-American community, as well as to assisting in the development of those individuals pursuing careers in health care.

Donations will be applied to our Manchester University chapter's general expenses to assist in our growth and expansion.

Why are donations necessary?

These donations are greatly appreciated and are necessary for establishing a general organization fund for the Manchester University chapter of AAHA. AAHA is dedicated to health care initiatives specifically focused on but are not limited to, diabetes, hypertension, benign prostate hyperplasia, and AIDS/ HIV prevention and awareness. With your donations, we are able to continue to educate the community at large.
